I just built a server system with the Intel Server Board S3420GPLC. I'm finally got the RAID working. (Intel has absolutely no documentation with this). I'm running through the Intel Deployment Assistant and get to the point of OS Installation and where it says insert the Windows Server 2008 R2 DVD and USB Stick on Key (10MB free space). I do this, and when it 'successfully created partitions!' it gives me the following error:
ERROR: No USB Stick on Key or Hard Drive mounted. Please wait 5 seconds if USB Stick on Key or Hard Drive is already connected.
How do I get past this? It's very frustrating.

Did you format your USB key using FAT/FAT32 file system? Intel Deployment Assistant is Linux based and may have problem mounting NTFS-formated USB key.
