Matrix Storage Manager Log?

I'm trying to correlate some events that took place on a client's server. One of the events is that one of the drives in their RAID 1 array died. I'd like to know when that actually took place, but I cannot seem to find anything about it in the Windows Event Logs. Is there some other log I might check? Using IMSC 8.6.

FYI, what I'm trying to correlate is whether the failure coincided with the server abruptly powering off, which may explain why there's nothing in the Event Logs.

Which server board is it? Most have a SEL viewer that will tell you what's happening at the board level.

I see there's lots of information at http://www.intel.com/support/chipsets/imsm/ - there might be instructions on how to pull Matrix logs there.
