I don't know if it's a stupid question, anyway...
I was given a w2k8 server preinstalled on a S1200BTL mainboard. System is working fine, but there is no raid management software installed. I tried to install RWC2:

but it don't work: software was installed in 'Standalone mode', once launched, it only display a server selection windows stating that "Servers could not be found because server may be down or server not installed in the host system". There is a "RWCFramework" service running, but I found no other services related.
I'm not sure it was the right software to install, but I found nothing else. Any idea?

Most likely it is caused because the HDDs are not configured in RAID.
First make sure that you have a RAID matrix (after POST, if you get a message stating that Intel ESRT2 is starting up).
Without any RAID matrix configured, Raid Web Console will not start, as it is not necessary when using HDDs in non-RAID configurations.
There was a configured raid, but Bios setup was configured as 'Intel Matrix' instead of ESR2. I'm now reinstalling system with an ESR2 Raid volume.
Many thanks.
