Dear community,
I just bought
- Intel S2600CP4 server board
- 4 x WD1001FYYG (SAS 1TB disk)
- 4 x SATA to SFF-8482 cable ( here is how it looks like http://imgur.com/fuHYuP1 http://imgur.com/fuHYuP1 , http://imgur.com/1AtFt86 http://imgur.com/1AtFt86 )
Hard drives are attached to SAS0 - SAS3 on the motherboard
The hard drives are not visible in bios, i want to use this disks (with RAID or withiout, doesnt matter at this point)
What should i do to be able to use this discs ?
Regards
Maciej

You need upgrade key to use SAS drives. See http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/CS-033699.htm Why does my on-board RAID not detect connected SAS disk drives? for details.
