S3200SH IDA 2.5 Server 2008 SBS

Good afternoon.

I've been spending a lot of time searching the web for a solution to install Windows Server 2008 SBS with the Intel® Deployment Assistant. According to the user guide (http://download.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/ida/sb/ida25userguide.pdf http://download.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/ida/sb/ida25userguide.pdf) , page 10, the S3200SH is supported. Note that only Server 2008 x64 and x86 are in the list on page 41. Not the SBS version (Only Server 2003).

According to the following web page (http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/CS-029982.htm http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/CS-029982.htm) IDA 2.5 is not supported.

Is Intel building a new version of IDA to support the new Microsoft Server 2008 products? If yes, when can it be expected?

Unfortunately, there's no way to tell whether there's a new version of IDA coming, or if it will support S3200SH under 2008 SBS. Best I can offer is, use the RSS feed to keep yourself updated on new downloads for that product
