Is it true that the S3200SHV needs additional hardware or accessories in order to get the onboard RAID-5 working?
Is it possible to make the RAID-5 into a bootable drive so I can load the OS?
Mixed reviews and maybe mis-information here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121328 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813121328
Please clear this up for me.
Thanks!Link Copied

Depends on the OS you're going to install. If you're going to install Windows, then yes you can use the onboard Matrix Storage RAID, and yes you can boot from a RAID 5 volume. Notice that booting from a volume larger than 2TB is not supported.
