I am re-purposing some servers with S5000PSL boards in them. I updated the BIOS, BMC and FRU. I noticed there were two choices of firmware to update the raid;

or

These are in non-Intel chassis, no backplanes just two SAS drives that I will mirror.

I would like to have the latest RAID firware on these when I redeploy them.

Any input on which I should be using would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hope this small tool can help you to locate the correct download:

If you're using onboard SATA RAID, the FW is included in the BIOS alreadly.

Sure hope he's not using the on-board SATA raid as he would likly have lots a problems talking to his 2 SAS HDD.
