How can I save the current firmware on disk on SR1530HSH (including FRUSDR)? I want to be able to return the old firmware after a firmware upgrade. I use Ubuntu. I haven't found an option for Intel(R) One Boot Flash Update Utility (flashupdt) to save the current firmware.
Can I upgrade FRUSDR only?

Just to be cleared, when you say that you would like to save the current firmware I believe you are referring to save and restore the same settings after a firmware update. If this is the case, you should be able to use our https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?DwnldID=16893 Intel® System Configuration Utility. You may refer to the http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/CS-022714.htm User's Guide for the instructions on how to perform this.

No, I want to save the current firmware itself (its program code and so on). I want to be able to restore the previous version of the firmware.

Intel is not currently offering a utility that it would capture the entire firmware image to restore the system on a later date.
