Vista Or Windows 7 not booting

when i install xp it works perfectly but when i install windows vista or windows 7 a blank screen apears after the intel logo

i have a dp45sg core 2 duo 2.0ghz nvidia 7300gt 2gb ddr3

What versions of Vista / 7 are you using? are they original dvds?Do yoou know they work on another system?
