Hi!
I'm studying the technical caracteristics of various Xeon Gold processors and I'm puzzled with some characteristics as well as what's behind the performance profiles.
Example#1
SKU 5318Y @ 1483 USD
SKU 5318S @ 1945 USD
Same CPU freq, CPU TDP, MEM BW, high/low-core processors but a difference of 500 USD.
Example #2
5318N
Std characteristics: 12C/24T, MaxTF=3.6GHz, BF=2.1GHz, TDP=150W
PP Config 3: 24C BF=2.6GHz, TDP=135W, same MEM BW
How is it possible to decrease the TDP by 15W and increase the BF by .5GHz with the same amount of cores?
Any help welcome.

Hello EajksEajks,
Thank you for joining the community
In order to compare items you can use the "Compare" feature from ark.intel.com
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000027710/processors.html
If you really need more in-depth information, you might need a Company Non-Disclosure Agreement in place as the information you are looking for is design/classified. Do you, or your company have a CNDA number?
