With reference to above subject I have questions as under
I heard that there are some CPU Manufacturer (Intel/IBM) provides two threads in each CPU core & Some CPU manufacturer(Sun) provide eight threads in each CPU Core, relating to this my questions are as under
(Scenario: 3 tier architecture, Front Server would be Intel E55XX Xeon based , Back end server will be HP Integrity RX6600 Intel Itanium2 CPU based & HP EVA 4400 Storage)
Q1: How many simultaneous compute threads could be support by processor in database server? Is multi simultaneous compute thread increase the Database server performance?? if Y or N then Why & How
