I HAVE JUST PURCHASED A D-LINK WBR-2310 ROUTER THAT IS SUPPOSED TO BE CERTIFIED TO USE WITH VIIV TECHNOLOGY. I WANT TO USE IT WITH MY DIRECTV HD DVR AND USE THE INTEL MEDIA SHARE SOFTWARE WHICH STATES THAT A CERTIFIABLE VIIV ROUTER IS NEEDED. WHEN I RUN THE SETUP FOR THE NETWORK USING THE INTEL MEDIA SOFTWARE AND IT STILL SAYS I NEED A INTEL CERTIFIED ROUTER EVEN WITH THE NEW D-LINK ROUTER. WILL THIS NEW ROUTER WORK OR CAN YOU RECOMMEND A CERTIFIED ROUTER THAT WILL WORK.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP, CHARLES R. HART

This really isn't a server question - I'd recommend checking http://www.intel.com/support/notebook/imss/ or posting under 'General'
