Hello.
We have new RS2WC080 raid controller + Asus mobo. Boot is from standalone SATA drive (so, not in raid).
I could enter raid bios and configure arrays, but that's all. Controller and mobo has latest BIOS.
No operation system could work normally. As for linux, it hangs always when trying to load raid driver (megaraid_sys).
Tried a lot of Linuxes (Centos, Ubuntu, and also RH5, which is "supported") - always the same result (hangs).
The Windows 7 seems to be working ok (only with latest driver), but when I try to format raid partition, system hangs also.

I suggest you update to the latest http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?ProductID=3217&DwnldID=21725&lang=eng&iid=dc_rss RAID Firmware first. Check the http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/sb/CS-031393.htm Tested hardware and operating system list for validated motherboards and hard drives.

Hello, thanks for reply. As I wrote, we already have the latest firmware. For tested motherboards, this list a bit outdated and only small number of listed mobos aviailable in my country.
Could Intel provide support with current motherboard (Asus) ?

Support would be limited... At least try it on a server board if possible.
