Hi
Thanks for your help in advance:) .I am running a M400 Toshiba DevelopmentLaptop, Windows XP (SP2)and I need to get 1360X768 Res on a Samsung Monitor.
I have Run MonInfo with the Results below and I am looking for guidence on how to proceed from here.

Change TotalDTDCount from "0" to "1"
Change DTD_1 to
66,21,50,B0,51,00,1B,30,40,70,36,00,75,F2,31,00,00,1E,37,01
Run setup.exe in the drivers directory.
Restart and 1360x768 should show up unless your laptop provider has explicitly prohibited it. If they have, we can try another one.

Thanks for your reply.I changed the INF file as shown below, ran setup, rebooted, tryed to change the res again but it did not give me any options larger than 1024X768 for the samsung monitor.
I would love it if there is something else we could try.

Yeah, it seems to me like Toshiba's one of those problematic vendors who turns off certain resolutions in the Video BIOS. I still don't get that, but whatever... you were on the right track with DTD_2, above, but what you needed was(for 1358x768):
66,21,4E,B2,51,00,1B,30,40,70,36,00,75,F2,31,00,00,1E,37,01
That ought to work.
Of course, if it doesn't, you should check the registry with regedit and make sure that all the DTD_x entries are populated with your DTD.
