Adding plugins to a standard HTML5 Project

Hi,

I'm very new to Intel XDK and I'm trying to develope an App-prototype with it.

Since I do not want to begin from scratch and as I need the APP DESIGNER, I've downloaded  the APP-DESIGNER template  "template-login-view-ad-master" from https://software.intel.com/en-us/xdk/docs/templates-to-get-started-with-xdk-app-development.

Now I'd like to add plugins to my project, but in the IDE I can't find the "PLUGIN MANAGEMENT" in the project settings. I have also no "plugins" directory in the root of my project.

My question:

Is it possible to add plugins like "cordova-splashscreen-plugin"  to my standard HTML5 project or is it only possible in "HTML5 + Cordova"- projects?

Is there a way to add plugins manually to my standard HTML5-project?

You might want to check with the Intel(R) XDK forum for any suggestion on your question: https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-xdk

My problem with the XDK is that as soon as i started adding a few more pages on my HTML5 project the very first "CONTINUE" button started malfunctioning.. It does not work anymore or takes me to the next page... What might be the problem and how can i fix it? Thanx in advance
