I'm creating a app which will consume web service but after searching a lot I found that CLI version 3.5  works best for ajax call but when I try to change CLI version in my Intel XDK I found only 2 versions 4.2 and 5.1 , so now my question is which one I have to choose to work efficiently, or I have to use version 3.5 If yse then how and where to get version 3.5 and how to integrate with XDK. what will be my next step to accomplish the task.  Hope you guys understand the problem and try to give me a best solution.

Thanks in advance

AJAX calls will work with any version. The difference is how the whitelisting is handled. Start with 4.1.2 if you have a working app based on 3.5. If you move to CLI 5.1.1, choose the "legacy" whitelist option.
