I'm using App Preview on a brand new Droid MAXX. When I make a change to the app in the Intel XDK IDE and push it to the server for testing, then select the app on the device, App Preview does not launch the latest version. Instead, it launches the previous version. I have to kill App Preview and relaunch it to get the latest app. If I delete an app in the IDE, the app is not removed from App Preview. This is a problem if I decide to scrap an app and start a new one with the same name (which I've had to do several times due to other bugs in the XDK), as App Preview will show duplicate entries for the project name.
Also, the 3 finger tap-to-dismiss doesn't work consistently on the MAXX.

Which version of App Preview are you using? You can find it in under "Applications" or "App Manager" or "Apps" or something similar in your Android setup screens. When you find App Preview and look at the details you'll find the version number. The latest version is 2.1.1. Please update to the latest if you do not have the latest installed.

I'm using version 2.1.1.
I've also noticed this happens sometimes on iOS.

You may have duplicate app entries in the App Center that are causing this problem (this can be caused by running the XDK from multiple computers with the same account). You said you can see multiple entries in the list of apps. If you go to the App Center (https://appcenter.html5tools-software.intel.com/) you'll see all the apps available to you from the "server apps" button on App Preview. Delete all the entries for the problem apps and then resync using the Test tab and try it again.
BTW, if you put the Test tab into "WiFi" mode you can access your project directly from the XDK from within App Preview (using the "local apps" tab in App Preview). This requires that your device that is running App Preview and the XDK are running on the same subnet.
Also, pull down on the app list when viewing the "server apps" list to force App Preview to "refresh" the list of apps stored in the App Center for testing.
