Hi...
I'm trying to degrade desktop CPU's voltage/frequency in microsoft windows, but i find a question.
I can set power policy by throttling CPU (powrprof.h) in laptop Intel CPU, but can't do that in desktop CPU. that means desktop CPU doesn't support CPU throttling? but i read the CPU spec. and it did support speedstepped. CPU throttling and speedstepped are different technology?
thank you.
