Calling Fortran from Matlab

please help... I have Matlab 2009a and Intel Visual Fortran 11.1 installed on my laptop. When I tried to setup the fortran compiler for my Matlab (using mex -setup) so that I would be able to execute Fortran codes in Matlab environment. However, Matlab wasn't able to find my Intel Visual Fortran folder on the C: drive. Is this a compatibility issue? or something else? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
