When I start XDK I get the register / login screen. I then click register and it just hangs then tells me to try later, been like this for 3 days, what is going on?

What's the point if the software does not let me proceed past the log in, I just get the 'LOADING' message constantly and that's it. It works with Win 7 but apparently not with Win 8.1.

The XDK will load and run on Windows 8.1, I've done it. I would recommend removing it entirely and trying a fresh install. You can remove the entire app by following the instructions on this thread: https://forums.html5dev-software.intel.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=5923#p22329

Thanks all but I have found the culprit, it was a stuffed up Norton360 not allowing access. I have to give credit where credit is due, their support in getting it fixed was excellent.
