Cannot install C++ XE 2011 for Windows within support period

I purchased extended support for my license on 3/18/2010 and have an installation of C++ 11.1 working fine. I have the student license.

When I try to install the newest version on my omputer and choose the license file I recieved at that time, the installer says: "The license file provided is invalid"

Any ideas?

Hi There,

I have a similiar issue. An existing install of the C++ Composer XE 2011 U1 will not compile because it cannot find a valid license file. My existing licenses do not expire until 2012. Regardless, I grabbed a new license (internally) and it fails as well. Thinking I must be dense, I uninstalled the compiler and tried to reinstall with the same result. The new license file is invalid.

This issue was resolved privately. It required an update to the registration center account information, and then the user needed to download an upgraded license file to install Composer XE.
