Cannot register Intel Fortran Composer in order to upgrade to Intel Parallel Studio

I am currently using Intel Fotran composer.  I was given a link for a download of Intel Parallel Studio XE Pro 2015 for Fortran window from out IT guy.  He said that for me, this would be an upgrade because I already have Intel Fortran Composer.  When I tried to install/upgrade the software said that I needed to register this product.  I went back to the Intell website, created an account and attempted to register this product.  I was not able too.  This is what I recieved. Please Help!!!!

We are unable to match this serial number to a product in your account. Support upgrade must be applied to a product with currently active support services. The following requirements apply to Support Services Renewals:

A previous product registration is required to register and receive a support renewal license file. If you do not own the full version of a product, then you cannot register the renewal serial number and cannot obtain the required license file needed to use the product. Similarly, if you have not registered your product at the Intel® Software Development Products Registration Center, then you cannot register the renewal serial number until you register the full version.

Please note that the product name, support type and license type of your renewal must exactly match your original license. If you purchased a node-locked or floating license, the license count (number of seats) for your renewal must match the license count of the original.

If you feel you have received this message in error please contact Technical Support.

Upgrade a Serial Number from another person

You may also upgrade a product registered by someone else in your company. Please provide the serial number used for the original registration of Intel® Parallel Studio XE Professional Edition for Fortran Windows*. Your email domain name must match that of the person who registered the original serial number.

I have removed the serial number from your post.  Please do not post serial numbers in the public forums.  If needed, these can be sent via private message once one of our engineers is assigned to your issue.

The serial number you have is for a license renewal.  It will need to be applied to an existing license.  Since you do not have an existing license on your account, you'll need to find the original serial number, and either register it yourself or have the original owner register it.

Additionally, this is a Named User license.  In order for you to use the license, the original license owner should transfer it to your account.
