If you mean the code hints in the editor I'm not aware of how to turn that off or on . It is the Brackets editor, so you might have to lookup how to do that with Brackets. You can also use your own editor, you're not required to use the one that is built into the XDK. The XDK monitors changes to the filesystem, so it will behave properly if you use an external editor. I frequently use Sublime and Brackets with my projects, alongside the built-in editor.
