Hi,
If I add App Security API plugin in build settings in 2323 version of XDK, the crosswalk app in android while opening, it alerts "Unfortunately, App has stopped".
I thought, there may be problems in my code, but I tried creating a empty app just with this plugin, still I am getting the same error.
Could somebody please help me.
Regards,
Sam Deepak.

Are you sure you're installing the right architecture build on each device? What is the other device you are using? Another ASUS device like yours that is failing or some other brand device? What devices (brand and model) do you have access to? What versions of Android are they running?
Please provide more detailed information, we need details in order to help resolve the issue.

Hi Paul,
The first device is Intel ASUS x86 architecture with android 4.2 , the second one is Redmi x86 architecture with android 4.4 version. In both devices, it will install without any error, but while launching the app will crash saying "The app stopped unexpectedly".
The builds are Crosswalk builds. The strange thing is , it works with Cordova android builds. Only for Crosswalk builds it is failing.
Regards,
Sam Deepak.

- Did you uninstall the existing apps on each device before installing the one I gave you?
- Can you provide a specific model number for the Asus device?
- How are you installing these apps onto the device?
I installed the x86 version I sent you onto an Asus x86 tablet running Android 4.4 and it ran fine, no crash.

Hi Paul,
Yes, I did uninstall existing apps.
The model number is ASUS_T00J
I will give a build using Intel XDK and download it from the link send from build server. Then , I will install it by downloading it.
Regards,
Sam Deepak.

Hi Sam, I'm out of the office for a week and won't be able to spend any time on this issue until after I return. We're having trouble figuring out what is going on because we cannot reproduce the problem. I have access to a device this week that is close to what you are using that I will try to see if I can reproduce the issue, but until we can reproduce the issue there's not a whole lot we can do about it. The symptoms simply make no sense...

Hi Sam, we have uncovered an issue that sounds like it might be related to your issue. No certainty, at this time, if they are related, but your issue and the other issue sound related. Will report back if we make progress on this other issue, since there's a good chance we can reproduce that issue.
