Crosswalk shared compilations don´t request install Crosswalk runtime

From two or three days ago the Crosswalk shared compilations don´t request to install Crosswalk runtine. So, they crash if you don´t have installed it before. I haven´t detected the problem until today because I had installed the runtime but one coworker have reported me the problem. I review it and it happens.

David, are you building with CLI 5.1.1 or CLI 4.1.2? It's possible that creating a "shared model" build with 5.1.1 is causing this to happen. I will do a quick test to confirm, but would like to know what your build settings were.

Never mind, I forgot that our build system will refuse to build a shared mode Crosswalk APK when CLI 5.1.1 is selected. Eventually, that will work, but the 5.1.1. build system needs to be updated before it will work. In the meantime, only CLI 4.1.2 will build a shared mode APK.

I'm seeing the same problem.  I'll report it to our builders and see about getting it fixed.

Ok. Thanks Dale and Paul. My XDK is v.2496 and  CLI 4.1.2.

p.s. We have confirmed the issue, but have not yet identified the fix. Since this is a regression it will receive priority attention.

Sorry Typo

App compilation with Crosswalk on version 2548 is still not embedding the Crosswalk Runtime.

Just built an app, copied APK to device and installed the App.

App will not run without the Cross runtime being downloaded separately.

Built with 5.1.1

Nick -- it's not clear to me how you are performing an "embedded" Crosswalk build with CLI 5.1.1, since you should be getting a failure on the build with this error message:

Are you having trouble using the "shared" model with CLI 4.1.2? I've done a test and confirmed that it does prompt me that I need the Crosswalk shared library and provides a link to the store.

Likewise, I successfully have build and installed a Crosswalk app built with CLI 5.1.1.
