Debugging app not working

Hi.. I have a problem in debugging the app.. I have created a new app and wished to debug the app for an issue.. the project gets uploaded but debugging is not working.. still asks for upload... then i have updated my xdk version from 3491 to 3522.. but still same issue persist.. then tried using generic debug.. the plugins installed are not supporting
