Disable update notification

Hi,

Is there a way to disable the update notification ? I had to uninstall last version (2496) and go back to 2336, because android build fails without leaving explicit message. After uninstall (hard work, many errors during uninstall process), I got back my procjet to 2336 release and it build works fine.

But I have, very often, update notifications and I do not want to upgrade.

So how can i remove those upgrade boxes ?

You can not disable the popup.

Why is your build failing is the better question. Did you figure out what was causing the build to fail?

Honestly, the ability to ignore updates for a day or more at a time is a desirable feature. The XDK is too insistent (comically so) about updates, and some XDK updates have caused serious issues to crop up. For people trying to deal with production apps, they should not have to fight to stay on a known stable release.

@John H -> maybe a trouble with the plugin indexedDB used to store locally structured data. I had several troubles on builds with this cordova plugin (https://github.com/MSOpenTech/cordova-plugin-indexedDB)

But no way to be sure, I did not have on release 2496 the same build failure screen than in 2336 release. because having no information, I got back my project on previous version because I needed to test it in the phone on real context, so I needed to get an apk file.

@Barry Johnson I agree. Upgrades are not stables, and rollback is painful (project form of a version are not readeable by previous one, uninstall have a lot of problems and, again, no explicit messages), so for now, I don't want to upgrade until final release an deploy of my app. I lost quite half a day to retrieve my projet working after XDK update.
