Does Core i7-920 support VT-extensions such as EPT

Hello,

I am going to purchase a Desktop with Core i7-920 processors, and i was interested to know if the i7-920 processors support VT-extensions such as EPT and VPID ?

Also this desktop has a x58 express chipset, does this chipset support vt-d2 ( i.e, virtualization technology for directed i/o - second revision ) ?

All of Core i7 series should support EPT/VPID. x58 supports "VT-d2", although note that this is more of an internal and informal name forVT-d enhancement features,not an official term that you will see on product specs.
