Does a single license cover both Windows and Linux?

Can a single floating license be shared by both Linux and Windows machines? For example, if I would like to run Intel C++ Studio XE on both Linux and Windows with floating licenses (small network), do I need to purchase separate licenses, or will the licenses server either version?

Similarly, can a node-locked license be used for more than one OS on a machine that boots to both operating systems?

Licenses are generally sold on a per-OS basis, and the download and install packages are different for Windows and Linux. In order to use the Studio on a Linux and Windows machine you would need to purchase 2 licenses, even if both OSes exist on a single dual-boot machine.
