Something seems to have gone wrong between CVF 6.5 and 6.5A regarding the use of fpscomp:filesfromcmd.
OPEN(55,file=' ',status='OLD',ACTION='READ')
worked fine until I upgraded: If I passed a filename, it used it; if I didn't, it asked me very politely.
My Project Settings Fortran Compatibility PowerStation 4.0 Compatibility Options does call for Filenames from Command Line.
The only other change was that now I have imposed /nodefaultlib:"libc.lib" so that SentinelPro dongle routines don't cause conflicts. Could that have screwed things up?
Anyone know of a fix or, lacking that, a more modern way to get the program to prompt for a filename if none is included on the command line?
Thanks for your help. God bless!
