OK
did a clean reinstall of win 8.1
Installed DCM1.2 worked, then SDK v3 worked, most examples worked without a prob, Installed Unity 5 then figured out no example is compatible with 5, Installed 4 a windows update, then nothing is working any more camera not detected or listed un installed from hardware devices(hidden ones), restarted tryed to reinstall DCM nothing no longer detected on any port... not sure if it was something done by unity or if it was the windows update, unistalled both restarted still no detected camera, on any port all my ports are usb3 and my cpu is 4 Generation.
My specs:
Asus g750jx 4th gen Intel® Core™ i7 USB 3 Win 8.1
Guess I will have to do once again a clean reinstall.... BUT any clues ???

It sounds like the fix for your problem is going to be quite simple. With Unity 5, you need to use the 64-bit version of the RealSense library files, as Unity 5 is 64-bit (previous versions were 32-bit).
To find the 64-bit versions, look in the RSSDK > Bin > x64 folder. Replace libpxccpp2c.dll in the Plugins folder of your Unity 'Assets' section and libpxcclr.unity.dll in the Plugins.Managed folder with the 64 bit files of the same name. The camera should then work when you run a program.
Do not use the Unity Toolkit to import the files, as the Toolkit currently imports the 32-bit files that don't work in Unity 5. You will have to copy the files over from the x64 folder manually.

the DCM can be uninstalled from the Windows Remove Programs. To re-install, simply run the download again.

I guess you could uninstall the DCM using the 'Programs and Features' section of the Windows Control Panel, which lists the programs installed on your machine. You could select the DCM and then click Uninstall / Change at the top of the list.

It sounds like your problems with detection really started though when you installed a Windows update, so I would focus on that as the cause of the problem.

That was my thinking, but there is no way I can confirm that for now can't unistall the update and maybe there is no way to prevent it from happening again if I redo the windows install ...
any clues?

Before you do a wipe and reinstall of Windows, I would check first if your PC has saved a Restore Point so that you can roll your PC back to just before you installed the Windows update that seemed to break your RealSense.
The forum's spam filter won't let me post any links to guides on how to do this, so Google for 'windows 8.1 system restore'.

Ok NEW theory left the camera aside for 4 days connected it today before trying the restore point, surprise, It was detected by the DCM installer, installed it, then it was no longer detected, uninstalled the dcm then tryed to reinstall and well can't, it no longer detects the camera like it just did a few minutes ago.
it is ether a faulty cable (I doubt so) or a faulty component that starts to give problems once it over heats,,, either way looks more and more like I've got a faulty camera ... what now??
Let me know thanks in advance.
