Probably asked and answered, but ...
We have a number of individual licenses for Composer XE (FORTRAN users) that have differing expiration dates and would like to make the renewal process easier. So, I'm thinking about going to a multi-pack floating license. The issue is that several users work on laptops that aren't always connected to a network.
Would it be possible, or advisable, to install a license server somewhere on the network, and also on individual laptops, all connected to the same basic license?

Hi James,
There is a license borrow feature. This allows a user to borrow a license for a set amount of time from the license server. See http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-flexlm-license-borrowing-capability for more details on how this feature works.
