Google Maps Cordova Plugin + Crosswalk = black screen

Hi everyone,

I am having a problem with the Cordova Google Maps plugin, leading to a black screen when building on Android Crosswalk.
I did some research a found a solution from the crosswalk team but this involves adding code to the crosswalk web view:

https://crosswalk-project.org/jira/browse/XWALK-4372

Is it possible to implement this conditionally into the build process, or has anyone found another solution to this problem?

I'll forward the information to the build engineer, but I would not expect we can do anything about this specific problem in the near future.

Did this ever get resolved because I want to use the Google Maps plugin but i don't want to start down that road only to find a dead end?

It never got resolved, I decided to use Mapbox as a replacement. It works pretty well and has a directions API too.

It is a problem with the Crosswalk system, which we do not control. Have you tried building with CLI 5.1.1 and choosing CW 15? The Crosswalk issue is directed at CW14.

Yea, I have been following the changes and am working on trying it with that config. Didn't intend to make it seem as negligence on Intel's part.
