Hi,
I am new to android app development. Everything was working fine till I restarted my system. Now I getting the following error when I try to run the emulator:
emulator: ERROR: x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration!
Please ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable.
CPU acceleration status: HAX is not installed on this machine (/dev/HAX is missing).
I can reinstall HAXM but that doesn't solve the problem. Everytime I restart the system, I will have to reinstall it. Please suggest any permanent solution to this problem.
System Configuration:
Macbook Air (128GB / 4GB/ OSX El Captain with Win 10 using Bootcamp)
Android Studio 1.1
Java SDK 7 (jdk 7u80)
