I'm trying to install Intel HAXM . However, during installation, I get an error saying that VT-x is not enabled.
The Intel VT-x is supported by my computer’s processor and I go into system BIOS and find VT-x enabled !!
I don't know what is the problem?!! Why this error occurs ?
My OS is windows 8.
Thank you..

Do you have an antivirus solution installed on your system? Some antivirus program block HAXM installation.
Another thing you should do is to check if Hyper-V options are enabled/disabled in "Windows Feature".
HAXM also need XD feature to work. After you check in BIOS to see if XD is enabled run as administrator in a command prompt following command: bcdedit /set nx AlwaysOn
