HAXM silently crashing on OS X 10.9.5

Installed latest version of HAXM manually on 10.9.5 with latest version of Android Studio.

HAX is working and emulator runs in fast virt mode

There's nothing logged in the console/system logs at all.

The emulator window opens, stays blank (whether I check use host gpu or not) and doesn't boot. ADB shows it as 'offline' for about a minute or so then it disappears completely.

I'm on a real Mac Pro running 10.9.5.

This seems to be the same issue everyone is having in the "Core 2 Duo Macs" thread, however, it's affecting more than just C2D systems.

Seems to be happening EVERYWHERE.

I'm still having this issue!

HAXM _was_ working on my C2D 2009 Mac Book Pro.. Not anymore.

It has never worked on my XEON-based Mac Pro.

Can you try HAXM hotfix 1.1.2? It is published on https://software.intel.com

I had the same issues in a C2D 2009 Mac Book Pro that I had been using for Android and iOS development for old projects and the HAXM hotfix 1.1.2 that Ionel Mitel mentions solved the problem.

Update Android Studio, this tool need updates like a 2 times on the mopnth =(
