Hello. Not long ago I purcahsed a Dell Inspiron 1525 at my local Best Buy. Just today I updated my drivers, and had the error something like "The driver is not validated." After Googling this error, I found that I had to manually install the driver via "Have Disk" which I did. Now the screen is a mix of random colors that hurt your eyes.

There is a screenshot below. If there is any info you have or need to help me, please post and tell me!

I am running Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP1.

Also, I was wondering... Is it even worth the upgrade? All I really wanted was Directx 10, which this driver apparently provides. But I'm not completely sure if it does.

Here is a screenshot of what the google search of "google" looks like now.

Now, wait a second! The picture looks fine from another PC... Does anybody know anything about this??

I'm using v15.11.2 myself on X3100 and Dell XPS M1330. Others with an Insprion 1525 over at Dell's forum are also using recent Intel drivers without any problems:

Since you can take screenshot which contain the correct RGB values and image, maybe try to attach an external display and see whether the colors are okay on this one.

Ok, well... I don't actually have another monitor. I guess I could borrow one from a friend... Or, I could go intomy attic and find that old CRT...

Ah, sorry, didn't see you've started a thread about this already... it's still nice to see someone else is in the same boat as i am - here's my thread:

I've done quite a bit of investigating in that, so hopefully we can be on the same page to work this out.

I hate to say it but..... thanks for having the same problem as me, I was getting completely desperate - I haven't been able to find anything online about this issue.
