How can generate .key file from intel xdk

Hi,

I'm trying to configure ios pushes using this tut : http://qnimate.com/push-notification-in-intel-xdk-using-push-plugin/

i'm having a problem : how to generate PEM file using .cer on windows ?

its written i have to enter command lines with openssl but i have to use private key.

I think the private is used to generate CSR, that intel provides us.

can anyone tell me how to proceed to generate pem files to activate pushes on ios on google could messaging ?
