IR inteference from other sources

Ive noticed that the camera depth interpretation samples (I have an RS300) get a major noise jump from an IR device that is on the ceiling over my computer (although it was cool to see the otherwise hidden IR light beaming from it)

Is there a way to adjust the camera so that it doesn't scan that far away?

SR300 and F200 work by emitting an IR pattern into the scene. If you have any other source of IR in the room, like your IR light, or the sun, the pattern will get corrupted, so you will not be able to get depth there.

Just don't point any other IR emitter into the same area, and it should be fine. Alternatively, you could block the external IR light with a case, or something similar.
