Inbuilt camera in Asus Zen Asio problem

Hi,

I recently got an Asus Zen Asio Z240IC with inbuilt Realsense camera (F200).

Unfortunately for me the camera is not recognized as such and all features ain't working.

My configuration is:

Windows 10 v10586, x64, i7-6700T with 16Go

Camera: In built F200

The DCM is not installing giving the famous "failed to detect realsense camera" error.

When looking at the device manager, the camera is recognized as USB2.0 HD UVC Webcam, that I believe to be a "standard windows driver". Uninstalling it just leads to the same device automatic installation.

The camera is working as "regular" camera in app such as "camera" or Skype.

Please help....

Cheers,

Jean

Can you provide a screen shot of your imaging devices in Device Manager?

There's no sign of an F200 (or any Intel RealSense camera) in device manager. I'd suggest you double check with the system manufacturer.

That's my main problem!

ASUS confirms that the realsense camera is in (and anyway is main part of the Zen Aio) and advisse me to re-install driver (thus DCM).....problem remains.... no realsense detected thus DCM cannot install....and therefore does not appear in device manager :-(
