Hi, I've just installed Parallel Studio XE Professional and then VS 2015 Community with the C++ option on a Windows 10 system. Earlier I evaluated both sets of software before purchasing. I uninstalled both versions before I installed the purchased version. When I launch VS 2015, I get a message that says I've exceeded the evaluation period. I thought that VS 2015 was a free download compatible with XE. If so, how can I turn off the time-limit.

Hello,
Are you getting the message from VS 2015? We don't support problems specific to Visual Studio, but I believe if you have the community edition you can only use it for a certain amount of time before you have to sign in with a Microsoft account, which is free to create.
Thanks,
Jennifer

Thanks, that was helpful. The trick was that I had to sign out first and then sign back into the Microsoft account and that seemed to take care of it.
