Intel® RealSense™ App Challenge - Use Gold R1 SDK 3.1 for your Demo

A few Challenge participants have recently asked for more information about the Intel® RealSense™ SDK Release 3.1  (Gold R1 - released Nov. 14)

To ensure all Finalists have the same information, we wanted to let you know:

• R1 (released Nov. 2014) s the definitive version of the SDK on which you should be developing your Demo App
  • The judging platform will only be loaded with the SDK R1 
• Optimizing your code for R1
  • An article outlining the best practices for optimizing your App Demo for R1 can be found here

Dear Fritz,

Gold SDK is 3.1 not 2.1, can you please double check it?

I would also believe it is 3.1. When I check the version I have installed with the "SDK information viewer" app it says: version 3.1.0.25181

I checked the current installer on the website and it is still the same version as the one I used a while ago...
