Upon trying to check for updates with Intel Software Manager (version=1.0), Intel Software Manager fails with "cannot connect to update server".
In `ism.log`, at the time of the attempted update, I noticed:
ERROR : Error during getting subscription end dates from IRC: This implementation is not part of the Windows Platform FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms. ERROR : Unable to get subscription end dates from IRC! ERROR : RunWorkerCompleted: failed
I have FIPS enabled, and would rather NOT disable it. How might I fix this?
NOTE: ism.log says I have 6 valid products.

Hi Alex,
Please disable FIPS in registry by following the instruction on this thread: <http://stackoverflow.com/questions/14509354/this-implementation-is-not-part-of-the-windows-platform-fips-validated-cryptogra>.
Then restart ISM and let me know if it works.
Thanks.

(software suggestion): This should really be bubbled up to the UI.
