Hi there.

I know something about advantages of INTEL VT for hardware virtualization.
But I would like to know - what kind of benefits gives Intel-VT for container based virtualization for Microsoft Windows.

Does Intel VT allows to run a larger number of iCore Virtual Accounts ( http://icoresoftware.com/ )?

Thanks.

An engineer gave me this comment:

According to the link

http://icoresoftware.com/virtualization-technology.html

iCore software just virtualizes filesystem (and registry?) via extra hooks level. Every changed file in virtual machine gets their own copy. And every changed file in the host system, which was not modified in the guest becomes visible inside container as well.

It appears thatthey do not use hardware virtualization at all, just file system filters ora related mechanism. So Intel VT is irrelevant here.
