Intel XDK - Upgarde

After I upgraded to Intel XDK 1816 I keep getting the following error as XDK crashes when I try and run the app in the emulator 

xdk:client (1425906100881): Uncaught top-level browser exception at file:///C:/Users/RayR/AppData/Local/Intel/XDK/xdk/components/client/device-discovery/impl/discovery-adb.js:17:69: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'adb' of undefined

Does anyone know what is the problem?

My suspicion is you have an adb conflict on your system. See this post for some help: https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/topic/541668
