Intel Xeon Phi Processor Software version 1.5.0 for Linux

In case you don't know, the Intel Xeon Phi Processor Software version 1.5.0 for Linux was released last week at https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/xeon-phi-software . This version has the following major changes:

  • Support CentOS 7.3.
  • Removed variations in applications performance using MCDRAM as cache.
  • Sysdiag – Added KNL debug tool.
  • Sysdiag – Stress tests removed.
  • MCELOG and CPUID are no longer shipped with XPPSL package.
