LR200 vs. R200

I just noticed there is a LR200. Could anyone tell me the key differences compared with R200? http://click.intel.com/realsense.html shows two R200 kits, is the $169 one LR200?

Thanks,

Michael

Same question here:

What is the difference between the product at 99$ and the one at 169$?

They are both listed as R200:

Hi guys,

I'm not sure if I'm correct, but from what I can see on the website I think there is no difference between the products.

The only difference that I can see is that one of the products has a "*Special Introductory Price of $99" and ships only to "United States, Canada, China, EU, and Japan", whereas the other product ships to almost everywhere.

Again I'm not sure if that is 100% true, but that's the only difference I could find.

Regards,

Plamen

Thanks Plamen! I have the $99 version with 1.x firmware and I'm wondering if I could upgrade its firmware to 2.x. In the latest driver, LR200 w/ firmware 2.x seems  to be supported. Where could I find the LR200 spec and buy it? Does it have longer range?

Hi Michael L,

The LR200 is the same as R200, the only difference is that
LR200 has image quality improvement, RGB - 1080p and improvement of IR emitter.
