I have the following error when I try to use icc:

Error: unknown string
License file(s) used were (in this order):
    1. Trusted Storage
** 2. /opt/intel/licenses/NCOM____XXXX-XXXXXXXX_1.lic
** 3. /opt/intel/compilers_and_libraries_2017.4.196/linux/bin/intel64/../../Licenses
** 4. /home/user/Licenses
** 5. /Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/Intel/Licenses
** 6. /opt/intel/compilers_and_libraries_2017.4.196/linux/bin/intel64/*.lic

Please visit https://software.intel.com/en-us/faq/licensing#invalid-license-error if you require technical assistance.

icc: error #10052: could not checkout FLEXlm license

The licence file is at this location

/opt/intel/licenses/

My machine does not have an Ethernet port and I used the MAC of my wifi card for the licence. I am not sure if this is related to my issue.

Hi,

You problem is relevant to start-up issue, I will help to transfer to SUS forum. Thanks.

This topic can be closed. The problem was my fault because I confused the licence for MKL with the one for Parallel Studio XE.

Thanks.
