It is really buggy.
I believe I had to go to the Test Tab and start the connection on WIFI first. Then go to Live Layout. Even then, it does not refresh automatically.
Also, if you are on windows, make sure your WIFI setting is on Private and not Public. Go to Network and Sharing Center (right click on WIFI icon by the clock). If it does not give you the option to change it, click on "Advanced Sharing Settings" on the left and enable "Turn on Network Discovery". From there, it should automatically switch it to a private network.
