MPSS start failed

I install MPSS v3.3 on CentOS v6.5 64-bit workstation. When I "did sudo micctrl --initdefaults", there is a warning: "No Mic cards found or specified on command line", and "sudo service mpss start", it show "Starting Intel (R) MPSS: [FAILED]". I also found there missing "/etc/mpss/mic*.conf".
Does someone please help me fix my problem?

the T7500 has two PCI express slots. Can you open the box and tell us what is inside? Are both slots occupied? Is there a Xeon Phi installed?

You've mentioned an NVidia card only thus far - this forum is intended for Xeon Phi users, not NVidia/CUDA users.

Hi Jan,

Only the NVIDIA card on PCI slot. I am going to wrong forum. I am sorry for that. I am going to find the right one.

Thanks

One last thing - if you do not have an Intel Xeon Phi coprocessor card, you will not be using the Intel MPSS. You might want to uninstall it.

Hi Frances,

Actually I want to install Intel C++ Composer XE 2013 SP1. On step 2.4 of the installation, it is "Installation of Intel® Manycore Platform Software Stack (Intel® MPSS)". That is why I try to install MPSS. Now, I got right way on my setup. Thank you and all others people who given me help and suggestions.
